CAREER NOTES:

Daunay is the French national record holder, having run a 2:25:43 and 2:24:22 at the 2009 and 2010 Paris Marathons, respectively. She set her first national record at Osaka in January 2008.

At the 2009 ING New York City Marathon she was consistently with the lead pack for most of the race. Although she fell back going through Central Park, she made it to the podium with the fourth sub-2:30 of her career.

Behind several African runners halfway through Paris last April, Daunay ran just 52 seconds slower over the second half (1:11:45/1:12:37) to move all the way up to the runner-up position.

She is also France's best women's 10,000 meters runner, winning the national championships the past two years.
