CAREER NOTES:

Adil Annani broke into world-class marathon territory at couple of race in his home country of Morocco in 2009 - 2:11:05 (third) Marrakech and 2:12:03 (first) Casablanca. Along with a 2:10:15 at Beppu in February 2009 that was good enough to earn him a ticket to the 2009 World Championships, were he finished a solid seventh.

At the 2012 London Marathon he made a big jump up in class, taking the fourth position in a personal best 2:07:43.
